Amendment to Notification Nos. 345/86-Cus. and 347/86-Cus. [G.E. Nos. 179 181] Notification No. 204/89-Cus. Dated 6-7-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Govern ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In the Table annexed to the said notification,- (i) against serial number 14, in column (4), for the words "Glass Epoxy Laminates", the words "Copper clad laminates of glass epoxy type" shall be substituted; (ii) against serial number 35, in column (4), for the words "Paper Phenolic Laminates or Glass Epoxy Laminates", the words "Copper clad laminates of paper phenolic or glass epoxy type" shall be substituted; (iii) against serial number 77, in column (4), for the words "Copper clad laminates", the words "Copper clad laminates phenolic or paper phenolic or glass epoxy types" shall be substituted. 2. 347/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against serial number 2, in column (4), for the words "Phenolic or glass epoxy copper clad laminates", the words "Copper clad laminates of phenolic or glass epoxy types" shall be substituted.
