Amendment to Notification No. 106/89-Cus. - Auxiliary duty Notification No. 139/89-Cus. Dated 4-4-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-clause (4) of clause 35 of the Finance Bill, 1989 which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made in the said Finance Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931) the force of law, the central Government, being satisfied that it is in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 106/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Schedule to the said Notification, after Sl. No. 265 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "266. No. 138-Customs, dated the 4th April, 1989."
