Amendments to Notification No. 106/89 and 108/89-Cus. - [Auxiliary duty] Notification No. 135/89-Cus. Dated 31-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-clause (4) of clause 35 of the Finance Bill, 1989 which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made in the said Finance Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931) the force of law, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column 2 of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 106/89-Customs, dated 1st March, 1989. In the Schedule to the said notification, after Sl. No. 264 and the entry relating thereto the following Sl. No. and the entry shall be inserted namely :- "265 No. 134/89-Customs, dated the 31st March, 1989". 2. No. 108/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989. In the Schedule to the said notification Sl. No. 82 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted.
