Rescinds Notifications No. 70/78-Cus and 132/80-Cus - [G.E. 117 119] Notification No. 126/89-Cus. Dated 23-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely :- 1. No. 70/Customs, dated the 25th March, 1978. 2. No. 132/Customs, dated the 2nd July 1980. 2. This Notification shall come into force on the 24th day of March, 1989.
