Exemption from auxiliary duty on all goods under Finance Act, 1988 during 1-3-1989 to 31-3-1989 Notification No. 116/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 77 of the Finance Act, 1988 (26 of 1988), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts all goods specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub-section (1) of section 77 of the second mentioned Act during the period commencing on the 1st March, 1989 and ending on the 31st March, 1989.
