Amends Notification No. 62/88-Cus. relating to DC micro-motors Notification No. 92/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 62/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely:- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (a) against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (3), the entry "DC Micromotors of voltage rating not exceeding 13.5 volts and output not exceeding 20 watts (other than those covered by S. No. 1 above) for audio cassette recorder or player" shall be substituted; (b) after S. No. 2 and entries relatin thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted; namely: - (1) (2) (3) (4) "2A. 85.01 DC Micromotors of voltage rating not excee ding 13.5 volts and output not exceeding 20 watts (other than those covered by S. Nos. 1 or 2 above) 35 per cent ad valorem .".
