Amends Notification No. 49/79-Cus. relating to additional duty exemption on goods covered by Notification No. 118/80-Cus. Notification No. 82/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 49/79-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1979, namely :- In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, Item No. 21 and the entry relating thereto, shall be omitted.
