Prescribes duty on specified capital goods for the LSI/VLSI Notification No. 80/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 56/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Item No. 22 and entries relating thereto, the following Item Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "23. Wafer Recognition Wire Bonder. 24. Wafer Scribers (Pattern Recognition type). 25. Die Bonder. 26. Wafer Sewing Machine. 27. Wafer Prober.".
