Amends Notification Nos. 76/85-Cus., 77/85-Cus. and 78/85-Cus. relating to components etc. for manufacture of fuel-injection equipments Notification No. 67/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 76/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985 In the said notification, - (i) for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent", shall be substituted; and (ii) in paragraph 2, for the figures and words "31st day of March, 1990.", the figures and words "31st day of March, 1994.", shall be substituted. 2. 77/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985 In the said notification, - (i) for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent", shall be substituted; and (ii) in paragraph 2, for the figures and words "31st day of March, 1990.", the figures and words "31st day of March, 1994.", shall be substituted. 3. 78/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985 In the said notification, - (i) for the word "goods", wherever it occurs, the words "goods in the nature of sub-components" shall be substituted; (ii) for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent", shall be substituted; and (iii) in paragraph 2, for the figures and words "31st day of March, 1990.", the figures and words "31st day of March, 1994.", shall be substituted.
