Amends Notification No. 317/87-Cus. relating to capital goods imported by specified sectors Notification No. 61/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) 317/87-Customs, dated the 17th September, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. (ii), in column (2), after item 21 and the entry relating thereto, the following items and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "22. Electronic level comparators for aligning and calibration of machine tools. 33. Precision Internal grinding machine, out of roundness of 0.000625 mm, surface finish 0.025 microns Ra value. 34. Gear and Sprocket wheel deburring machine. 35. Multi spindle copying/duplicating and profile machine. 36. Laser cutting/welding machine"; (ii) after Sl.
