Amends 13 notifications relating to specified machinery Notification No. 58/89-Cus Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended or further amended as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. Nos. 1 to 12, 91 and 92 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 2/83-Customs, dated the 1st January, 1983 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 3. 16/85-Customs, dated the 1st February, 1985 In the Table annexed to the said notification, Sl. Nos. 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 24 to 29, 100 and 107 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 4. 123/85-Customs, dated the 11th April, 1985 In the said notification, for the figures and words ''25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 5. 314/85-Customs, dated the 11th October, 1985 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 6. 158/86-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 7. 61/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 8. 62/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987 In the said notification, - (i) for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted; and (ii) in the Table, Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 9. 122/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 10. 123/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 11. 25/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988 In the said notification, for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 12. 34/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988 In the said notification, for the figures and words "30 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted. 13. 148/88-Customs, dated the 27th April, 1988 In the said notification, - (i) after the words, "Fisheries Corporation" the words "or any Fisheries Co-operative Federation recognised by the State Government concerned" shall be inserted; and (ii) for the figures and words "25 per cent", the figures and words "35 per cent" shall be substituted.
