Amendments to Notification Nos. 136/86-Cus. and 251/86-Cus. Notification No. 43/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 136/86-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S.No. 58B, in column (4), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "45% ad valorem ." 2. 251/86-Customs, dated the l6th April, 1986. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures and words "30th day of April, 1989", the figures and words "30th day of April, 1990" shall be substituted.
