Amends Notification No. 227/76-Cus. Notification No. 312/87-Cus. Dated 15-9-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following-further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Banking) No. 227-Customs, dated the 22nd August, 1976, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) for Serial No. 4 and the entries relating thereto the following Serial No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) 4. Polypropylene and copolymers of propylene 20 per cent ad valorem ;" (ii) gainst Serial No. 5, in column (3), for the figures and words "60 per cent ad valorem" , the figures and words "30 per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted.
