Amends Notification No. 154/86-Cus. Notification No. 302/87-Cus. Dated 25-8-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 154/86-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, - (1) for the proviso, beginning with the word "Provided" and ending with the words "CNC Machines" the following proviso shall be substituted, namely :- "Provided that in respect of goods specified in Sl. No. (i) of the said Table, the concessional rate specified in Column (3) thereof shall not apply in respect of CNC Machines," and (2) in the Table against Sl. No. (i), in column 2 Item 28 and entry relating thereto shall be omitted.
