Amends Notification No. 345/86-Cus. Notification. No. 296/87-Cus. Dated 17-8-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue No. 345/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Serial No. 84 and the entries relating thereto the following Serial No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "84. 72, 73, 74, 76 (i) Iron of 99.7% purity of above. Cast Alloy Permanent Magnets, when imported by the manufacturers of such magnets." (ii) Copper of 99.9% purity or above. (iii) Aluminium of 99.99% purity or above.
