Amends Notification No. 179/86-Cus. Notification No. 255/87-Cus. Dated 2-7-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 179/86-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification,- (a) for the words and figures "Chapter 29", the words and figures "Chapter 28 or Chapter 29" shall be substituted; (b) in the Table annexed, Sl. Numbers 27, 35 and 57 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
