Velavadi as warehousing station Notification No. 217/87-Cus. Dated 15-5-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 of the Customs, Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs, hereby declares Village Velavadi in Nagari Taluk in district Chittoor in the State of Andhra Pradesh to be a warehousing station for the purposes of setting up hundred per cent export-oriented undertakings."
