Appointment of customs officers Notification No. 214/87-Cus. Dated 14-5-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Customs, Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 251-Customs, dated the 27th August, 1983, namely :- In the Table below the said notification, for Item No. 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely : (1) (2) (3) (4) '8. The Union Territory of Delhi, the whole of the State of Haryana and the NOIDA Export Processing Zone at Ghaziabad in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Collector of Customs Delhi. Deputy Collectors of Customs, working under the control of the Collector of Customs, Delhi. Assistant Collectors of Customs, working under the control of the Collector of Customs, Delhi. Explanation :- For the purposes of this item, "NOIDA Export Processing Zone at Ghaziabad" shall comprise the places bearing the survey numbers and enclosed by the boundaries as are specified in paragraph 4 of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 339-Customs/85, dated the 21st November, 1985.
