Amendments to Notification No. 67/85 Notification No. 77/87-Cus. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 67/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :- In the said notification, — (i) in Clause (a), for the words "twenty-five per cent ad valorem ", the words "fifty per cent ad valorem " shall be substituted; (ii) in the table, for Sl. No. 1 and the entry relating thereto, the follo wing Sl. No. and entry shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) "1. The following types of integrated circuits, namely :- Type Max. Access Time (i) DRAM 64K X 1 bit 120 ns (ii) DRAM 256K X 1 bit 120 ns (iii) SRAM 1K X 4 bits 45 ns (iv) SRAM 2K X 8 bits 120 ns (v) ROM 16K X 8 bits 250 ns (vi) EPROM 4K X 8 bits 250 ns (vii) EPROM 16K X 8 bits 250 ns (viii) EEPROM 8K X 8 bits 150 ns.".
