Notification Nos. 514/86, 515/86 516/86 - Amendments Notification No. 25/87-Cus. Dated 23-1-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In the said notification, for condition No. (ii) of Para 1 the following condition shall be substituted, namely :- "(ii) The importer produces a certificate issued by a duly authorised officer of the Directorate General of Technical Development certifying that goods are essential for the abovesaid Gas Pipeline Project." 2. No. 515/86-Customs, dated the 30th December, 1986. In the said notification, for condition No. (ii) of Para 1 the following condition shall be substituted, namely :- "(ii) The importer produces a certificate issued by a duly authorised officer of the Directorate General of Technical Development certifying that goods are essential for the above purposes." 3. No. 516/86-Customs, dated the 30th December, 1986. In the said notification, for condition No. (ii) of Para 1 the following condition shall be substituted, namely :- "(ii) The importer produces certificate issued by a authorised officer duly of the Directorate General of Technical Development certifying that goods are essential for the above purposes."
