Exemption to strawboard [Sub-Heading 4807-92] Notification No. 4/87-Cus. Dated 2-1-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts strawboard, falling under heading No. 48.07 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) as fall also under sub-heading No. 4807.92 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) and manufactured in Nepal and containing not less than 80% of Nepalese materials or Nepalese and Indian materials, when imported into India from Nepal from so much of additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Art, as is in excess of 10 per cent ad valorem plus three hundred rupees per metric tonne. 2. This notification shall remain in force upto and inclusive of 31st day of March, 1988.
