Amendment to Notifications 43/85-Cus., 44/85-Cus. and 46/85-Cus. Notification No. 147B/86-Cus. Dated 27-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, the words "semi-knocked down packs, completely knocked down packs and" shall be omitted; 2. 44/85-Customs, dated the 28th February, 1985 In the said notification,— (i) in the opening paragraph, the brackets and words "(excluding semi-knocked down packs and completely knocked down packs)" shall be omitted; and (ii) in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and word "28th February, 1986", the figures, letters and word "28th February, 1987" shall be substituted; 3. 46/85-Customs, dated the 28th February, 1985. In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (i) against Sl. No. 2, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Horological brass strips and sheets in coils or substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 3, (a) for the entry in column (2), the entry "Leaded brass strips in coils or in straight length" shall be substituted; (b) for the entry in column (3), the entry "Thickness—0.02 mm to 0.5 mm. Width— upto 50 mm" shall be substituted; (iii) against Sl. No. 9, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Diameter—5mm to 10mm" shall be substituted; (iv) against Sl. No. 10, in column (3), for the entry "Diameter—0.30mm to 1.5 mm", the entry "Diameter—0.3mm to 6mm" shall be substituted; (v) against Sl. No. 11, in column (3) for the entry "Width-0.2mm to l6mm", the entry "Width-0.2mm" shall be substituted : (vi) against Sl. No. 12, in column (3), for the entry "Width-upto 1.4mm", the entry "Width-upto 1.5mm" shall be substituted; (vii) against Sl. No. 15, in column (3), for the entry "Width-0.5mm to 5mm", the entry "Width-0.4mm to 5mm" shall be substituted; and (viii) after Sl. No. 30 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl.
