Goods of Heading 84.82 Notification No. 146/86-Cus. Dated 26-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 85-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby exempts the goods specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed and falling under heading No. 84.82 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported into India, from so much of that portion of the duty of Customs leviable thereon which is specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table : Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall affect the exemption granted under any other notification of the Government of India for the time being in force, from the duty of customs specified in the said First Schedule in respect of the goods referred to in this notification. Parts of goods specified in Serial No. 5 above. (i) (a) Parts including sub-assemblies of the bearings of description mentioned in item (i)(a) of Sl. No. 5 above 150% ad valorem plus Rs. 26 per part or sub-assembly, as the case may be. (c) Parts including sub-assemblies of the bearings of description mentioned in item (i)(c) of Sl.
