Foreign Travel Tax: Exemption to Foreign Ministers, etc., attending Non-aligned Foreign Ministers' Conference Notification Number: 040(E) Dated 31-01-1981 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts the Foreign Ministers, their spouses and delegates (including officials) numbering about one thousand in all coming to attend the Non-aligned Foreign Ministers' Conference to be held in New Delhi from the 4th February, 1981, to the 12th February, 1981, from payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the said Conference. 2.
