New Delhi , Dated 15-09-2009 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 28F of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government hereby authorises the Authority constituted under section 245-O of the Income Tax, 1961 (43 of 1961) , to act as the Authority under Chapter VB of the Customs Act, 1962 , subject to the provision contained in sub-section (2C) of section 28F of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) .
