To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Village Kadubeesanahalli, Taluka Varthur Hobli - Bangalore (Karnataka) MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 17th February, 2010 S.O. 410(E).- Whereas M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited, a private organisation in the State of Karnataka, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Village Kadubeesanahalli, Taluka Varthur Hobli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 19.334064750 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce- and Industry Notification Number S.O.1979(E) dated 16th November 2006 ; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an additional area of 1.912955466 hectares and de-notified an area of 2.448578900 hectares, making the resultant area as 18.798441316 hectares in the above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 2546(E) dated 6th October, 2009 ; And whereas, M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited has further proposed for the de-notification of 0.807773279 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 22nd December, 2009; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.807773279 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 17.990668037 hectares at above Special Economic Zone, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely:- TABLE Sl.
