Committees of two Commissioners of Central Excise - Jurisdiction for purpose of Customs Section 129A(2) - Amends Notification No. 49/2005-Customs (N.T.), dated the 17th June, 2005 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 29/2010- Customs (N.T.) New Delhi, the 8th April 2010. G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of section 129A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 49/2005-Customs (N.T.) published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R.410(E),dated the17th June, 2005, namely:- In the said notification , in the Table against serial number 45, in column (2), - (i) against entry number (1) for the words and letters "Commissioner of Central Excise Mumbai IV", the words and letter "Commissioner of Service Tax I, Mumbai" shall be substituted; and (ii) entry number (2) shall be omitted. It was subsequently amended by Notification No.42/2008- Customs (N.T.), dated the 12th May, 2008 vide number G.S.R 371(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 12th May, 2008. It was subsequently amended by Notification No.53/2009- Customs (N.T.), dated the 19th May, 2009 vide number G.S.R 344(E), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 19th May 2009. It was subsequently amended by Notification No.01/2010- Customs (N.T.), dated the 06th January, 2010 vide number G.S.R. 8(E) , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 06th January, 2010.
