Setting up a sector specific SEZ for Information Technology and information technology enabled services at Village Gwal Pahari, Tehsil Sohna, District - Gurgaon, - Haryana - De-notification of certain area notified vide Notification No. S.O. 2143(E), dated 17th December 2007 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) New Delhi , the 16th August, 2010 S.O. 2098(E).- Whereas M/s. Canton Buildwell Pvt. Ltd. has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and information technology enabled services at Village Gwal Pahari, Tehsil Sohna, District-Gurgaon, in the State of Haryana; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , has notified a total area of 10.1627 hectares at Village Gwal Pahari, Tehsil Sohna, District - Gurgaon, in the State, of Haryana as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification No. S.O. 2143(E), dated 17th December 2007; And whereas M/s. Canton Bulidwell Pvt. Ltd. has proposed to include additional area of 9.1401 hectares at Village - Gwal Pahari, Tehsil - Sohna, District - Gurgaon, in the State of Haryana as a part of that Special Economic Zone; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services sector at the said villages on 27th February, 2009; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 9.1401 hectares at Village Gwal Pahari, Tebsil Sohna, District - Gurgaon, in the State of Haryana, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:- Click here to view the full text or Table
