Notification : No. GSR 1621, dated 28-10-1965. Subject:- Special provisions -Notifications notifying provisions of the Act as not applicable or applicable with modification in relation to companies in Goa, Daman and Diu GSR 1621.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 620B of the Companies Act, 1956, as extended to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu, the Central Government hereby directs that in the case of Sociedade por quotas responsibilidade limitada formed under the Portuguese Commercial Code and incorporated as companies under the said Act on or before the 30th June, 1965, under the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 34 of the said Act, as extended to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu, the provisions of the said Act as specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed hereto shall not apply, or, as the case may be, shall apply with the exceptions, modifications and adaptations in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, from the date of such incorporation till the 31st day of December, 1965. THE SCHEDULE Provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 Extent of application (1) (2) Sections 4 to 8, 11 to 16, 20, 26, 27 and 30 Shall not apply. Section 31 Only sub-section (1) without the proviso thereto, and sub-section (2) shall apply. Sections 32 to 39, 42, 44 to 47, 76 to 80 Shall not apply. Section 84 Only sub-section (1) shall apply. Sections 91, 92, 98, 99, 106 to 113, 116 to 123, 150 to 164, 171, 174 to 181, 183 to 188, 190 and 191 Shall not apply. Section 192 Only sub-sections (1), (2), (3), clauses ( a ) and ( b ) of sub-section (4), sub-section (5) and sub-section (6) shall apply. Section 196 Only sub-section (1) without clause ( b ) thereof, shall apply. Sections 197, 199, 200 and 205 to 208 Shall not apply. Section 209 Only sub-sections (1) and (4A) shall apply. Section 210 Only sub-sections (1), (2), (3) and (4) shall apply. Section 211 Only sub-sections (1) to (6) shall apply. Sections 212 to 214 Shall not apply. Section 215 Only sub-sections (1) and (2) shall apply. Sections 216 to 219, 221 to 223, 225, 228, 232, 233, 235 to 251, 253 to 258, 260, 267, 275 to 279, 284 to 289 and 291 Shall not apply. Section 294 Only sub-section (1) shall apply. Sections 297 to 299, 301 to 308, 312, 314, 315, 318 to 323, 347, 355 to 364, 370, 371, 375 to 385, 389 to 408, 410 to 415 and 417 to 424 Shall not apply. Schedules II to V, VII, VIII, IX and XI of the Act Shall not apply
