NOTIFICATION NO. GSR 189, DATED 4-4-1994 Subject:- Section 620A of the Companies Act, 1956 - Power to modify Act in its application to Nidhi's etc. - Notified Nidhi G.S.R. 189.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 620A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby declares Subam Benefit Fund Limited, a company having its registered office at III. B. Thalayari Street (Upstair), Pattukkottai-614 601 in the State of Tamil Nadu, to be a Nidhi and directs that the provisions of the said Act specified in column (1) of Schedule HI annexed to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Company Law Administrations) No. G.S.R. 978, dated 28-5-1963, shall not apply, or, as the case may be, shall apply with the exceptions, modifications and adaptations specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, to the said Nidhi and makes the following amendment in the said notification, namely : In Schedule I to the said notification, after item 142 and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be added, namely : "143. Subam Benefit Fund Limited, Tamil Nadu.
