NOTIFICATION NO. GSR 32, DATED 10-1-1996 Subject:- Power to modify Act in its application to Nidhis, etc, - Declaration of Nidhi companies subject to certain directions G.S.R. 32, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 620A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby ( i ) declares the following companies to be Nidhis subject to the directions specified in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) No. G.S.R. 773(E), dated 4th December, 1995, namely: Sl. The Hasnapuram Mutual Benefit Permanent Fund Limited, Plot No. 37, No. 9, Cross Street, NGO Colony, Hasnapuram, Chromepet, Madras-600 044. 7. Manappuram Benefit Fund Limited, Kanjany Road, Vatanapally, Distt. Trissur-680 614. 8. Galaxy Mutual Benefit Company Limited, C-4, Meerabai Marg, Lucknow. 9. Alagendran Benefit Fund Limited, 19, Marshall Road, Madras-600 008. ( ii ) directs that the provisions of the said Act, specified in column (1) of Schedule III annexed to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Company Law Administration) No. G.S.R. 978, dated 28th May, 1963 shall not apply and/ or, as the case may be, shall apply with the exceptions, modifications and adaptations specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, to the said Nidhis and makes the following amendment in the said notification, namely: In Schedule I to the said notification after serial number 154 and the entries relating thereto, the following items and entries shall be added, namely: "155.
