NOTIFICATION NO. SO 529(E) [F.NO. 10/5/96-CL.V], DATED 23-7-1996 Subject:- Section 4A(2) of the Companies Act, 1956 - Public financial institutions -Notified public financial institution SO 529(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956(1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following institution to be a public financial institution and for that purpose makes the following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) vide SO 1329, dated the 8th May, 1978, namely: In the said notification, after entry 35, the following entry shall be added, namely:- "36. North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd."
