NO. 1 /11 /98-CL.V], DATED 6-1-1999, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Substitution of sub-rule (2A) of rule 5A of the Companies (Central Governments) General Rules and Forms, 1956 In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (I) of section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), read with subsection (1A) of section 108, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956 namely: (a) These Rules may be called the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms (Amendment) Rules, 1999. (b) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules and Forms, 1956, in rule 5A, for sub-rule (2A), the following sub-rule shall be substituted namely: "(2A) An instrument of transfer in respect of counter receipts allowed to be traded by Over the Counter Exchange of India (OTCEI) shall be in Form 7BB."
