Amendments in Schedule VI to the Companies Act, 1956 - GSR 129(E), - Companies LawExtract NOTIFICATION NO. GSR 129(E), DATED 22-2-1999, ISSUED BY THEDEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF LAW, JUSTICE COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Amendments in Schedule VI to the Companies Act, 1956 G.S.R. 129(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 641 of the Companies Act 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following further alterations in Schedule VI to the said Act, namely: In the said Schedule, in "Part I Form of Balance Sheet", (1) in the first column relating to "Instructions in accordance with which Liabilities should be made out", after the first paragraph appearing against the sub heading "current liabilities and provisions", occurring in the second column, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: "The name (s) of the small scale industrial undertaking (s) to whom the Company owe a sum exceeding Rs. 1 Lakh which is outstanding for more than 30 days, are to be disclosed." (2) in the second column, relating to "Liabilities", under the heading "current liabilities and provisions", after item (2), the following sub-items shall be inserted, namely: "(i) Total outstanding Dues of small scale industrial undertaking(s); and (ii) Total outstanding Dues of creditors other than small scale industrial undertaking(s); (3) in the "Notes" embodying General Instructions for preparation of balance sheet, after item (p), the following shall be inserted, namely: '(q) A small scale industrial undertaking has the same meaning as assigned to it under clause (j) of section 3 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951."
