NOTIFICATION NO. GSR 204(E) [F.NO. 2/29/98-CL.V], DATED 12-3-1999, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Substitution of certain words in clauses (a) and (b) of rule 1A of the Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975 G.S.R. 204(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 217 read with clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975, namely: 1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Particulars of Employees) (Amendment) Rules, 1999. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In rule 1A of the Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975, (i) in clause (a), for the words "three lakhs" the words "six lakhs" shall be substituted; (ii) in clause (b), for the words "twenty-five thousand" the words "fifty thousand" shall be substituted.
