G.S.R. 280(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 642, read with clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 209 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Cost Accounting Records (Motor Vehicles) Rules, 1997, namely :- 1 . (1) These rules may be called the Cost Accounting Records (Motor Vehicles) Amendment Rules, 2001. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazettee. 2. In the Cost Accounting Records (Motor Vehicles) Rules, 1997,- in rule 2, after item (e) and the entries relating thereto, the following item shall be inserted, namely: "(f) Heavy Earth Moving Equipments (A. Ramaswamy) Joint Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Company Affairs, New Delhi F.No.52/24/CAB-2000 Foot note.- The principal rules were published vide GSR number 537(E), dated 11th September, 1997 and subsequently amended vide- 1. GSR 328(E), dated 3rd June, 1998. 2. GSR 456(E), dated 3rd August, 1998.
