PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II SECTION 3 SUB-SECTION (ii) DATED 9.05.2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th May, 2003 Subject:- Declaration of National Co-operative Development Corporation (NCDC) as Public Financial Institution under section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 S.O. 518 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following institution to be a public financial institution and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) number S.O. 1329 dated 8th May, 1978,namely:- In the said notification, after serial no: 39, the following serial no and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:- "40. National Cooperative Department Corporation (NCDC)". [F.
