MINISTRY OF COMPANY AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 14 th September, 2006 Subject:- Date on which provisions of section 4 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2006 shall come into force. S.O. 1529(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2006 (23 of 2006), the Central Government hereby appoints the 16th day of September, 2006 as the date on which the provisions of section 4 of the said Act, shall come into force.
