MINISTRY OF COMPANY AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19 th October, 2006 Subject:- Section 1(2) of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2006 - Commencement of Act - Notified date of sections 2 and 3 GSR 648(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2006 (23 of 2006), the Central Government hereby appoints 1-11-2006 as the date on which the provisions of sections 2 and 3 of the said Act shall come into force.
