Zinc ash/skimmings etc.-Import Policy specified - 22 (RE-99) 1997-2002 - Foreign Trade PolicyExtract Zinc ash/skimmings etc.-Import Policy specified ADVANCE COPY TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART-II, SECTION-3, SUB SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO.22(RE-99) 1997-2002, NEW DELHI : 30 th July,1999 S.O (E) - In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 1997-2002 published on 31 st March, 1997 (RE-98) as amended from time to time, namely - Following new entries will be inserted at the end of appropriate Exim code: EXIM CODE Item Description Policy Conditions relating to policy Import under SIL/ Public Notice 26.2011 00 Zinc Ash in dispersible form 26.2011 00.10 Containing Zinc greater than 65% and lead and cadmium equal to or less than 1.25% and 0.1% respectively. Free Import permitted to Units registered with Ministry of Environment Forest, Govt. of India, on Actual User basis, up to the annual quantity limits indicated in the registration certificate. 26.2011 00.20 Containing Zinc less than 65% and lead and cadmium above 1.25% and 0.1%, respectively. Restricted Import permitted against a licence and only for the purpose of processing or re-use as per Import Licensing Note 1 on Hazardous Waste below. 790200 00.20 Zinc Skimmings containing zinc 65% and above, lead and cadmium less than 1.25% and 0.1%, respectively. Free Import permitted to Units registered with Ministry of Environment Forest, Govt. of India, on Actual User basis, up to the annual quantity limits indicated in the registration certificate 790200 00.30 Zinc skimmings containing zinc less than 65% and lead and cadmium above 1.25% and 0.1% respectively.
