Last date for shipment of 1.5 Lakh M. Tonnes of Onions extended from 15.12.2000 to 15th January, 2001 TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 47 (RE-2000)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI , the 21 st December, 2000 S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade(Development Regulation ) Act, 1992 ( No. 22 of 1992 ) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002(incorporating amendment made upto 31.3.2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 published on 31 st March, 1997- ( RE-98) as amended from time to time :- In entry at ITC(HS) Code No. 0703 (1) of Schedule-2, Table-B relating to export of Onions ( All varieties other than Bangalore rose Onions and Krishnapuram Rose Onions ), the last date for shipment of 1.5 Lakh M. Tonnes of Onions released vide Notification No. 31 ( Re-2000)/1997-2002 dated 24 th August, 2000 and Notification No. 35 ( RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 25 th Sept., 2000 is extended from 15.12.2000 to " 15 th January, 2001 ." 2.
