Approved Institution Ramakrishna Mission, Vivekananda College , Madras u/s 35(1)(iii) NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.2744 DATED 3-9-1981 In continuation of this office Notification No. 2053 (F. No. 203/121/77-ITA. II) dated 26-11-1977. It is hereby notified for general information that the institution mentioned below has been approved by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, the prescribed authority for the purposes of clause ( iii ) of sub-section (1) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, on the following conditions :--- 1. That the funds collected by the Ramakrishna Mission under this exemption will be utilised exclusively for promotion of research in social sciences. 2. That the Ramakrishna Mission shall maintain separate accounts of the funds collected by them under the exemption ; and 3. That the Ramakrishna Mission shall send to the Council annual reports and audited statement of accounts regularly showing funds collected under this exemption and the manner in which the funds are utilized.
