Monthly Review of Accounts of Union Government of India upto the month of July 2019 for the Financial Year 2019-20 |

The Monthly Account of the Union Government of India upto the month of July 2019 has been consolidated and reports published. The highlights are given below:- The Government of India has received ₹ 3,99,673 crore (19.19% of corresponding BE 19-20 of Total Receipts) upto July 2019 comprising ₹ 3,38,705 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), ₹ 43,905 crore of Non Tax Revenue and ₹ 17,063 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans (₹ 4,705 crore) and Disinvestment Proceeds (₹ 12,358 crore). ₹ 1,99,912 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India upto this period which is ₹ 12,502 crore lower than the previous year. Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is ₹ 9,47,278 crore (34.0% of corresponding BE 19-20), out of which ₹ 8,39,673 crore is on Revenue Account and ₹ 1,07,605 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, ₹ 1,83,524 crore is on account of Interest Payments and ₹ 1,69,660 crore is on account of Major Subsidies. |
