Mandatory electronic payment of tax by certain Categories of taxpayers w.e.f. 1.4.2008 - Instructions to Banks

Central Government has issued notification no. 34/2008 dated 13-3-2008 to make it mandatory for taxpayers to pay tax through payment mode mandatory.  In the sequence, now RBI issued directions (RBI/2007-08/280 dated 10-4-2008) to the banks for implementing the Government Notifications.
