Anand Sharma condoles demise of Vilas Rao Deshmukh

The Union Minister of Commerce, Industry & Textiles, Shri Anand Sharma has expressed deep sorrow on the passing away of Shri Vilas Rao Deshmukh. In a statement, Shri Sharma said: “I am deeply aggrieved at the loss of a dear friend and valued colleague Shri Vilas Rao Deshmukh. He was an able administrator and a senior political leader. I had a privilege for having known him for over three decades. His contribution will be remembered not only in the State of Maharashtra where he was the Chief Minister, but will be mourned by the entire nation.”
