Shri P. Chidambaram, Minister of Finance, Government of India has been appointed India’s Governor on the Board of Governors of the African Development Bank and African Development Fund, with effect from 1st August, 2012 vice Shri Pranab Mukherjee.

Shri Arvind Mayaram, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India has been appointed as India’s alternate Governor on the Board of Governors of the African Development Bank and African Development Fund with effect from 1st August, 2012 vice Shri R. Gopalan.
