Restriction on SMSs Removed

The Government today removed the restriction on SMSs through mobile phone with immediate effect which were earlier imposed to check circulation of objectionable content.

Earlier the number was limited to five SMSs per day on above August 17, 2012. The situation was reviewed on August 24 and the number was increased from five to twenty.
