Anti-dumping Duties on Chemicals
The details of Export (Table I) and Import (Table II) for Chemical Fertilizers, Insecticide and Pesticide are given below. The country wise details are available at http://docnic/eidb.

The export of fertilizers is insignificant as compared to domestic market. Therefore, it would not affect the price of fertilizers.
Government has imposed anti-dumping duty on imports of various chemicals from China viz. Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Hydrosulphite, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulphoxylate, Sulpher Blck, 1-Phenyl-3-Methyl-5-Pyrazolone, Paranitroaniline and Potassium Carbonate used in production of pesticides and dyes.
Anti-Smuggling Unit of Central Board of Excise and Custom informed that information has been called from the customs’ field formations which is still awaited.
This information was given by Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Anand Sharma in a written reply to a question raised in the Lok Sabha today.
