Export for Neighbouring Countries

Quantum of wheat sold to neighbouring countries in last three years is as follows:

             Wheat exports are normally restricted.  Exports would depend upon the domestic demand and supply scenario.

Wheat being exported through government agencies is at market prices being discovered through competitive tendering.

This information was given by Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia in a written reply to a question raised in the Lok  Sabha  today.
