last date of surrender of central excise registration, Central Excise

Respected Sir,

                            As regarding above subject,One of my clients wants to surrender excise registration,can he surrender in between of present financial year or he has to compulsorily surrender on 31-03-2014.Please reply as soon as possible.

Dear Mehulji,

 He can surrender as soon as he is out of central excise purview as far as registration is concerned. He need not to wait till the end of the year.

Till then, your client would have to submit the Statutory Returns online.

No need for waiting the 31-3-2014 . you can surrender excise registration anytime but your SCN & other liabilites related to central excise fullfil.

your client should be  furnish under taking on 100/- stamp paper duly notarized , along  with the  last  copy of  monthly return.

Before  that on line surrender  request to be done from ACES. 

if  any  scn or  payments out standing is their. please fullfil the same.No  any  last  date  for surrender  of  c,ex registration.if  your  outstanding  fullfil with dept  by way of  c.ex duty,liabilities than any day you can genrate  the request  for surrender..
